If you're into live music with a bit of history and a cozy vibe, Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York, is the place to be. This legendary spot has been a cornerstone of the local arts scene for decades, and it’s got stories to tell, like celebrating its 50th summer with a special performance that felt more like a family gathering than a typical show. The venue isn’t just about the tunes; it’s got a comfy lounge area where you can kick back and relax before the music kicks in. Be warned though, snagging those front row seats can be a challenge, space is tight, and everyone wants the best view.
